Invisalign dental braces are transparent, and almost invisible on your teeth. Invisalign is usually recommended for people who only have simple things they need worked out.
How Invisalign Works
Step 1
The patient meets an orthodontist who takes an impression of the patient’s teeth.He prescribes a treatment method , and sends the impression to the Technology lab.
Step 2
A physical model of patient’s impression is made.Then that model is digitised using a 3D scanner.
Step 3
By using computer system,data is imported into the Invisalign.It’s used to produce digital models and start-to-finish 3D animations of the patient’s personal treatment method.
Step 4
The 3D models and animations are reviewed and orthodontist approves the treatment method.From these images, lab manufactures a unique set of clear, plastic aligners.
Step 5
The patient wears aligners for two weeks before switching to the next in the series.Treatment time is similar to metal braces and usually ranges from few months to 1 year depending on the complexity of the case.
